Software License Agreement

This software end user License Agreement is a legal agreement between you and Rinda Technologies, Inc.  Read it carefully before using the software.

In this agreement the "software" shall refer to the Diacom PC application software as well as the software components pre-installed and  residing within the Diacom USB communication cable.   

The Diacom USB communication cable serves a dual purpose as both a communication device for the Diacom PC application software and as a license mechanism for the software.    

By installing and using the software and associated  hardware you are confirming your acceptance of this License Agreement and agree to become bound by its terms.

1. License Grants

(a) You may install and use the software on  a single computer.   The software may not be shared, installed or used concurrently on multiple computers.

(b)You may make one copy of  the PC application component of the software solely for backup purposes. You must reproduce on any such copy all copyright notices and any other proprietary legends on the original copy of the software.

(c) Your license rights under this License Agreement are non-exclusive.

2. License Restrictions

(a) You may not rent, lease, or sublicense the software or its associated hardware components containing the software.

(b) The Diacom PC application software may not be used in conjunction with Diacom USB communication cables used for rental purposes or made available through rental /  leasing services.   Rinda Technologies Inc. reserves the right to prevent such use.

(c) Other than as set forth in Section 1, you may not make or distribute copies of the software.

(d) You may not alter, merge, modify, adapt or translate the software, or decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or otherwise reduce the software to a human-perceivable form.

(e) You may not modify the software or create derivative works based upon the Diacom software.

(f) In the event that you fail to comply with this License Agreement, Rinda Technologies, Inc. shall terminate the license and you must destroy all copies of the software (with all other rights of both parties and all other provisions of this License Agreement surviving any such termination).

3. Ownership
The foregoing License Agreement gives you limited license to use the software. Rinda Technologies, Inc. and its suppliers retain all right, title and interest, including all copyright and intellectual property rights, in and to, the software and all copies thereof. All rights not specifically granted in this License Agreement, including Federal and International Copyrights, are reserved by Rinda Technologies, Inc. and its suppliers.
